Rohr completes spying mission Over Cameroon



Super Eagles Manager, Gernot Rohr, has completed his spying mission and has begun work as part of efforts in securing victories against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon when the 2018 World Cup qualifiers resume in August.

The Eagles will take on the Indomitable Lions inback-to-back games on August 28 and September 2.
The video analyst of the Super Eagles Nabil Trabelsi has completed his mission in Russia at the Confederations Cup where he spied on Cameroon, Nigeria’s next opponents in the World Cup 2018 qualifiers, according to owngoalnigeria.com.

Trabelsi was appointed by Rohr as one of his assistant but specifically to study opponents using videos of past games of the opponents.



Already, he has sent some of the clips to top chieftains of the Nigeria Football Federation and Rohr, who left the spying job for Trabelsi to handle.

“Work has started in earnest as we hope to put all details together because the two matches are crucial to the team which will also determine our World Cup chances,” a source close to the NFF revealed.
Cameroon played three games at the Confederations Cup failing to win any as they crashed out in the group stage with losses to Chile and Germany leaving them with just one point, picked up from the 1-1 draw against Australia.

The Indomitable Lions struggled to score goals at the tournament with coach Hugo Broos confessing that his side needs to solve their goal scoring issues before facing Nigeria.
The Super Eagles are top of Group B of the qualifiers with six points ahead of Cameroon who have two .

Algeria and Zambia are bottom with just a point apiece.
