Leicester City’s Ahmed Musa probed over ‘wife beating

Nigeria international Ahmed Musa was arrested on Wednesday morning over suspicion of attacking his wife.
Police received a domestic abuse complaint against the player, who cost Leicester City a record fee of £16.6million.

According to The Sun, the 24-year-old was taken away by two plain-clothed women officers at his £850,000 five-bedroom who had spent about two hours taking a statement from his wife Jamila, mother to Musa’s two young children Ahmed Jnr and Halima.
Before the capture, Musa had taken to social media to wish his wife a message of love on her birthday.

“On this special day, may you have: All the joy, your heart can hold; All the smiles, a day can bring. And all the blessings, a life can unfold.
“May God bestow you with His bounties and blessings! Happy Birthday to my Queen.”
However, he eventually released by police who claimed they held the Super Eagles star on  suspicion of common assault.
Musa has struggled this season, starting just seven games under fired Claudio Ranieri. He looks to be out of favour with new manager Craig Shakespeare at King Power Stadium
