What’s Age Got to Do With It? Tina Turner Marries Longtime Partner at 73

Remember the song ‘What’s Love Got to Do With It’ from the 90s? We mimed and danced to it…well, Tina Turner the energy magnet behind the song has decided to take a second shot at marriage.
After 27 years with her longtime boyfriend…partner, Tina Turner; who is 73 by the way, has finally decided to make an honest man of her longtime partner and music producer, Erwin Bach who is 57. The pair wed in Zurich, Switzerland where Tina has resided for about 20 years becoming a Swiss citizen earlier this year.
The couple are set to have  a Buddhist ceremony at Tina’s lakefront mansion on the banks of Lake Zurich in celebration of their nuptials. Expectedly some entertainment heavyweights are included in the 120 guest list including Oprah, David Bowie and Sade Adu.
Tina who was in many ways to the 60s – 90s era what Beyonce is to us now was previously married to Ike Turner for 14 years eventually divorcing him in 1976 after a very abusive relationship. Her tumultuous marriage to Ike was captured in the 1993 biopic ‘What’s Love Got to do With It’ starring Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne.
