All Set For Miss Supranational Ghana
After
months of grooming and training in a residential housing, the final
contestants are set for a show piece in the 2013 Miss Supranational
Ghana pageant being packaged by Ghanaian based Nigerian, Lilian Okafor.
The show which promises to be classya and funfilled, will hold on
Saturday, 20th
July, 2013 at The Royal Majesty Hotel, Nungua, where the final
contestants will strut the runway to exhibit exclusive and latest
fashion trends from various designers and fashion house in the country
and Nigeria. According to Lilian, the focus behind the Miss
Supranational Pageant is to “raise role models with a module of “Beauty
with Talent and not Beauty with Sex”. It is part of our social
responsibility to divert the attention of our youths, especially girls,
from crime, streets, and redirect them towards worthwhile ventures. It
will create job opportunities for the winners will be given automatic
tickets to partake in the grand finale in Poland. It is also a way of
appreciating our numerous fans who have stood by us through the years.
We will showcase talents, cultural heritage and rich tourism potentials
to the world and attract tourists from all over the world.” The winner
of the contest will represent Ghana in the international pageant slated
for September 6, 2013, at Sport’s Palace of Minsk, Belarus. The Miss
Supranational Ghana 2013 television series will be aired by Viasat1ghana
which is the main media partner of this pageant.
